Condition: Brand New Ships from: Melbourne
These are four historic performances from the Fillmore East and West from 1970, when Miles Davis single-handedly brought jazz into the commercial rock era. In their unedited form, all of the recordings are previously unreleased. The searing heat of these concerts, originally released in heavily edited form, can now be heard in their entirety. This set includes several bonus tracks such as Wayne Shorter's "Paraphernalia" and "Footprints", an early version of "Miles Runs The Voodoo Down" and a rare encore of "Spanish Key" by Bitches Brew.
The visionary Bill Graham had booked Miles for a concert with The Grateful Dead at the Fillmore West and with his Columbia colleague Laura Nyro in June 1970. The latter recordings are the first documented live performances by Miles' band, when he hired
