• And that’s exactly what the album “Human Ceremony” is about: youth, excitement, rebellion and their own new interpretation of rock. Singer and bassist Julia Cumming has already worked as a model for Yves Saint Laurent. As a band, they feel inspired by artists as diverse as Neu!, Black Sabbath and Tame Impala. Their two co-musicians Nick Kivlen (vocals/guitar) and Jacob Faber (drums) hail from the New York indie rock scene, but audibly harbor a taste or two for British-influenced indie pop. Recommended songs: “Easier Said” and “Wall Watcher.”
