Only at the beginning of 2019 did Beth Gibbons, together with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, present a live recording of their performance of Henryk Grecki's Symphony No. 3.
Now the first and apart from the concert album, so far only solo album of the Portishead singer is finally released on vinyl again. The LP version has been out of stock for many years.
"Out Of Season" was originally released in 2002, one year later in the USA. In Germany it reached 13th place in the charts.
The solo album "Out Of Season" is only partially true, because Gibbons gets support on the album from talk-talk-bassist Paul Webb, but under the pseudonym Rustin Man. There are also guest contributions from Portishead band colleague Adrian Utley.
For the new edition "Out Of Season" was remastered at Abbey Road Studios and pressed
