• This famous set, recorded in 1958 by the New Symphony Orchestra London under the baton of Alexander Gibson, made its debut at the beginning of the RCA Living Stereo era. It became one of the most sought-after Living Stereo recordings, featuring pieces by Arnold, Liszt, Mussorgsky and others, all with a haunting, haunted theme. To this day, the interpretations are just as characterful and incisive as they were then.
