• “David Bowie (Space Oddity)” is the second studio album by the legendary rock musician. It was first released in November 1969. Bowie was just 22 years old at the time.
  Although the album is already his second, “Space Oddity” is the musician’s first rock album – a mixture of psychedelic, progressive and folk rock. The title track was Bowie’s first number one hit in the UK and is still one of his most famous songs. It is about the fictional astronaut Major Tom.
