• Fifty years ago, an act of pure musical magic took place on the Sands Hotel and Casino stage in Las Vegas when the timeless coolness of Frank Sinatra met the powerful swing of the Count Basie Orchestra. The historic event was captured on the album “Sinatra At The Sands”, which is still a popular classic today. It offers the perfect combination of old school pop music and swinging big band jazz.
  Reviews
“The Las Vegas era that he embodied here as a superstar was the same one that Martin Scorsese so captivatingly revived in ‘Casino’: “A generation of unbridled pleasure-seekers for whom Sinatra embodied success so effortlessly that they wanted to reflect a little bit of themselves in it.” (stereo, 12 / 2010)
