• Blizzard of Ozz, released in 1980, is Ozzy Osbournes debut solo album and a landmark in heavy metal history. Recorded after his departure from Black Sabbath, the record introduced a revitalized Osbourne alongside virtuoso guitarist Randy Rhoads, whose dazzling riffs and neoclassical solos redefined metal guitar playing. Tracks like Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley became instant classics, pairing Osbournes theatrical vocals with Rhoads inventive playing, while deeper cuts such as Suicide Solution and Steal Away (The Night) showcased the bands energy and chemistry.
