• Coldplay are back with album number six, “Ghost Stories”. In 2012, they toured the world with their fifth album, “Mylo Xyloto.” They then recorded the new album in their own studios in London until early 2014.
  The two previously released releases “Midnight” (February 2014) and “Magic” (April 2014) show a changed sound. In contrast to the instrumental complexity of “Mylo Xyloto”, the quartet presents a reduced, typical Coldplay sound with “Ghost Stories”. Wistfully melancholically the so far known ghost stories appear.
  In Culver City, California, the “Ghost Stories” were performed live for the first time in front of a selected audience in late March 2014. Coldplay front man Chris Martin greeted the crowd with the words, “Welcome to my standup comedy show.” With this phrase, he posed a riddle that fits the ghost stories: Shall
