Francis Lung - Miracle

Released 18th June 2021.

Miracle is the new album from Manchester singer songwriterFrancis Lung, set for release on Memphis Industries on 18 June2021.

For me, [Miracle] is about the struggle between my self-destructive side and my problem-solving, constructive side, saysFrancis. I suppose through a lot of these songs Im dealing withthese emotional problems, acknowledging the negative aspects ofmy behaviour instead of burying them, and providing an alternativepoint of view for myself. Despite its serious subjectmatter, Miracle is far from austere in sound, marrying thecinematic, dreamlike quality of Franciss earlier music with the
pared-back charm of great singer-songwriters like Judee Sill, JeffTweedy and Elliott Smith.

The album opens with Bad Hair Day, a relentlessly catchyanddeceptively upbeatode to hangovers and missed connections. Ive been calling on you all night /But I never get through, I just getin the way Francis lam
