• “Moving Images” is a collaborative album by composers Frank Maston and Greg Foat and the first release from Magic Hollow, Daniel O’Sullivan’s new label. Firmly rooted in the tradition of classic library music, the album draws on the profound and elegant side of the genre:

  vintage keyboards, analog synthesizers, drum machines and melodic economy, executed with clarity, warmth and restraint.

  Recorded in February 2025 at Ritmo Studios in Leysin, Switzerland, high in the Alps, Moving Images unfolds as a series of finely tuned pieces, characterized by restraint, texture and a fine sense of timbre. Swiss bassist Elie Ghersinu features prominently throughout the album, his full and flowing bass sound providing a consistent foundation.
