• “Pure Devotion”, named after the live series of the same name from 2024, marks a further step in Overmono’s development. Behind the project are brothers Tom and Ed Russell, who have been active in the British electronic scene for years – both together and through their solo projects Tessela and Truss. These experiences from the UK underground form the basis of their sound to this day. The album deliberately combines blurriness, technical imperfection and random moments with a clear artistic stance.

  Over the course of eleven tracks, Overmono expand their production approach and draw on unusual means: analog synthesizers from the 70s and 80s, old speaker systems or experimental sound processing.
