• Just earlier this year, Sufjan Stevens released the new-age collabo album “Aporia” together with his stepfather Lowell Brams.
  Now, the US singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist 2020 also returns with a new solo album.
  “The Ascension” is his eighth solo effort, the first since 2015’s “Carrie & Lowell”, which reached number six in the UK and number ten in the US.
  Stevens wrote and recorded 15 songs for “The Ascension”, including the first single release, the more than 12-minute protest song “America”.
