Black Devils Disco Club stands as one of the most elusive and influential artefacts of late-70s electronic disco. Originally released in 1978, the EP was created by Bernard Fvre alongside a collaborator operating under the playful aliases Joachim Sherylee and Junior Claristidge, blending drum machines, early synthesisers and deadpan funk into something both futuristic and subversive.
Its reputation grew steadily through the decades, culminating in renewed attention when Aphex Twin's Rephlex label reworked selected tracks in 2004. Until now, however, Disco Club has never been reissued in its complete, originally intended running order.
