• The second Cars album from 1979 followed exactly the well-known style of the first. Pop rhythms and biting lyrics made this one of the most successful new wave albums and after only a few weeks the platinum status of the LP was reached. The title was the abbreviation for Candy-Obnoxious and the lyrics of women and couples act accordingly. Although they seem wonderfully desirable, they can’t save this appearance into daylight
