• Daniel Johnston’s legacy is legendary. The DIY artist began his career in Austin, Texas, where he sold cassettes alongside his McDonald’s job.
  The rest is history and inspiration for musicians and fans of the 1980s alternative scene in the USA. The BBC radio sessions are now in their second edition after 2023, authorized by Daniel’s family, management and his charity. The sessions span a period of eight years, including two sessions for Rob Da Bank and three with Marc Riley (both executive producers of this album).
