• We Release Jazz presents Shoals, a striking full-length album from Earth and Bones, the collaborative project of Idris Rahman and Liran Donin of Ill Considered. A five-track suite of ambient, spiritual jazz, the record explores shamanic traditions, healing, and the balance between darkness and light through a deeply meditative soundscape.

  Driven by Donins double bass and shakers and Rahmans bass clarinet, tenor sax, shell, and Tibetan singing bowl, the music is a contemplative, ritualistic experience that channels both human and natural energies. The duo describe the album as a call to reconnectwith one another, with the animal world, and with the healing power of collective unity: We cant make it alone without our shoal.
