• After “Love & Death”, the sensational first studio album by Ghanaian music legend Ebo Taylor, which was released worldwide, Strut is now releasing “Life Stories”, the first showcase of his work.

  Taylor made a name for himself as one of the leading figures of the highlife era of the 50s and 60s in Ghana and increasingly came to the fore as a composer and frontman. At the beginning of the 60s, Ebo Taylor moved to London, where he studied at the renowned Eric Guilder School of Music together with his friend Fela Kuti. He led several well-known bands, including the famous Broadway Band, the Uhuru Dance Band & the Apagya Show Band.
