• Elaenia, released in 2015, is the debut full-length album by Floating Points (Sam Shepherd). Across its seven expansive tracks, the album fuses electronic, jazz, classical, and ambient elements into a seamless whole. The compositions often unfold slowly, privileging nuance and subtle shifts in texture over overt hooks or rhythms.
