Condition: Brand New Ships from: Melbourne
In the early 1960s, the young trumpeter Freddie Hubbard could hardly contain his creativity. After making his brilliant debut with Blue Note at the age of 22 with "Open Sesame", he recorded five more excellent albums in just two years with changing but always top-class line-ups. Among the highlights of "Here To Stay", alongside Hubbard's "2Philly Mignon", were two of Cal Massey's most memorable compositions: "Father And Son" and "Assunta".
Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition: Stereo, mastered by Kevin Gray, pressed on 180g vinyl by Optimal, in a single sleeve.
