• Hozier stands for blues sound from folk to gospel with profound lyrics in a tasteful indie guise. Edgy guitar riffs and spirited choir arrangements meet the instinct for pop hooks. The result is a successful mixture that whets the appetite for the debut album of the charismatic Irishman:
Andrew Hozier-Byrne, as Hozier’s real name is called, has captured the hearts of fans in recent weeks with his hit single “Take Me To Church”. Within a few days, the high-flyer with the memorable voice catapulted himself into the charts and into the private playlists of prominent musicians.
