• Dischord’s longest serving band with one of their best albums in remastered version !!! Rutted by breaks, harmonies spin around emotional axes and the songs are characterized by rawness and militant departure. By the way, Lungfish are not only the oldest band on Dischord (besides Fugazi of course), but also the only band on the label that is not from Washington DC. Deeply rooted in the ArtCore scene of their hometown Baltimore, Lungfish are therefore unique in two respects.

  The Lungfish band, from Baltimore, Maryland, performed and released albums on the Dischord Records label for more than 20 years. The group’s consciousness alternately/ simultaneously coalesced and dispersed creating a continuous quasi-musical pulse which reached climax at semi-monthly public performances.
