• “Prometheus” is a 2012 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott, written by Jon Paihts and Damon Lindelof and starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron. Set in the late 21st century, it revolves around the crew of the spaceship Prometheus, who follow a star map discovered among the artifacts of several ancient Earth cultures. Searching for the origins of humanity, the crew arrives on a distant world and discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human species.

  The film music was composed by German composer Marc Streitenfeld, who has often worked with director Ridley Scott. Streitenfeld has composed the music for many high-profile Hollywood films as well as critically acclaimed independent films, including “American Gangster”, “Body o
