• Live at the Fillmore East captures Neil Young & Crazy Horse at their rawest, loudest, and most emotionally potent. Recorded just months before guitarist Danny Whittens tragic spiral and the bands fragmentation, this live set documents the original Crazy Horse lineup in full flightsloppy, soulful, and transcendent.

This show comes from the Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere era, right after the success of Down by the River and Cowgirl in the Sand, but before the folkier introspection of After the Gold Rush. Its the perfect snapshot of a young band wielding volume and vulnerability in equal measure.

Long bootlegged and heavily mythologized, this official release finally gave fans a properly mixed, high-fidelity versionpart of Neil Youngs long-delayed Archives Performance Series.
