Legendary electronic music duo Orbital return Early 2023 with new album Optical Delusion, the Hartnoll brothers first studio album since 2018s Monsters Exist. Recorded in Orbitals Brighton studio, Optical Delusion includes contributions from Sleaford Mods, Penelope Isles, Anna B Savage, The Little Pest, Dina Ipavic, Coppe, and perhaps most surprisingly, The Medieval Baebes. A human being experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest [of humanity] a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. It just seemed to say so much about how people construct their own realities, how we see patterns that arent there, how we see
