• REO Speedwagon Hi Infidelity (1980) is the pinnacle of the band’s blend of arena rock and radio-friendly power ballads, making it one of the best-selling albums of the early ’80s. Packed with polished hooks and emotional highs, it features the massive hit Keep On Loving You, which helped define the power ballad genre. Rockers like Take It on the Run and Dont Let Him Go bring a punchy energy, while deeper cuts maintain a slick, melodic charm. Though it leans heavily into commercial rock, Hi Infidelity remains a well-crafted, nostalgic classic of the era.
