• An amazing session of spiritual soul jazz – and one of Strata East’s most sought-after albums! Shamek Farrah’s soulful alto sax meets the free spiritual piano of Sonelius Smith, an absolutely memorable session that practically defines the essence of the Strata East sound!

The music is free, but not too free; lyrical, but never indulgent; constantly changing with a fresh sense of imagination and swelling groove that is explicit to the classic Strata East style!
Shamek Farrah (as, prod); Joseph Gardner (tp); Sonelius Smith (p); Kiyoto Fuiwara & Milton Suggs (b); Freddie Wrenn (dr); Tony Waters (perc).
