• It’s a surprising collaboration, because they actually come from completely different directions: Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes will release their joint album “What Kinda Music” in 2020.
  But, when the English multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer and the jazz drummer and percussionist met again two years ago at a release party for Misch’s debut LP “Geography” – they already knew each other from school days – the idea of a joint project was born.
  Fortunately, because how well Misch and Dayes harmonize is already shown by the first single, the title track “What Kinda Music”: Here vintage hip-hop and soul meet jazz and electronic sounds. There is a lot to discover.
