• British punk and rock icons Wire are reissuing their first three albums, “Pink Flag,” “Chairs Missing” and “154,” in 2018 as a CD, LP and box set with additional bonus songs.
  “Chairs Missing” is the second album by Wire. It was originally released in August 1978 and, like its predecessor, was recorded at Advision Studios in London. Musically, however, things changed. Instead of minimalist punk, Wire went more in the direction of post-punk and new wave.
