• “In 1972 Arthur Verocai created 30 minutes of music for eternity. Unfortunately, it took an eternity before anyone noticed. 47 years later, current rock and hip greats and audiences pay homage to the Brazilian – also in Germany … But above all, Verocais rises above everything A wealth of ideas. A stylistically enormously complex monument – full of tension, full of gently melancholy moments and cautiously grooving implosions. Jazz solos, the harmony of bossa nova, short excursions into psychedelic music. Ten pieces, mostly less than three minutes long, sometimes instrumental, for example the great “Sylvia”, dedicated to Verocai’s wife, sometimes lyrically … One of the best Brazilian albums of all time.
