    In her role as producer, Bjrk invited a number of renowned artists and musicians into the studio to work with her on the songs. "Volta" showcases some of Bjrk's most interesting collaborations to date, including Anthony Hegarty (Anthony And The Johnsons) and Timbaland (Jay-Z, Missy Elliott etc). Other contributing artists include electro pioneer Mark Bell of LFO and two very special drummers - Chris Corsano (the Impro drummer who has worked with Sonic Youth, among others) and Brian Chippendale of Lightening Bolt

    Bjrk will also present two renowned African artists/bands: Toumani Diabate and Konono N1, and she has also assembled her own ten-piece wind orchestra of Icelandic musicians.
