“Durand Jones & The Indications have taken retro soul by storm in 2016 with their self-titled debut album, Durand Jones & The Indications, and have provided open mouths for their soulful class. In Europe, this pointedly arranged and smokily produced LP (Dead Oceans) will now be re-released along with its first tour, and it will delight fans of the genre.” (INTRO)
“Durand Jones sets retro highlights with his Indications and impresses with impressive range from fast and jittery to languorous and subtle suggestive.” (BEATBLOGGER)
“Retro soul new edition with a singer who’s got what it takes to be a classic. (…) The horns curve sexy over the dry beats, the bass has the, ahem, hot hooklines and hey, this Durand Jones comes around every corner with a power voice, a soul commander, the guy.”
