• Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Sunbeam Sound Machine today releases his fourth full-length album, Double Magic, out now via Dot Dash Recordings / Remote Control. The record marks the most expansive and energetic chapter yet for Nick Sowersbys dreamlike project, retaining his signature sparkling guitars and introspective lyricism, but now built on a four-to-the-floor rhythm from drummer Lochy Funston and percussionist Rhys Grunden. The record is punctuated by the constant burbling of nature sounds captured on bike rides around Melbourne with a Zoom recorder.
